Shipping & Returns 

All orders are processed and shipped from New York City. Please note orders are processed pending item availability and credit card verification (for international orders). You will be contacted if there are any issues with your order.
  • Orders placed Monday – Friday before 12pm EST for in-stock items will be processed and shipped same day.
  • Orders placed Monday – Friday after 12pm EST for in-stock items will be processed the next business day.
  • Orders placed Friday after 12pm EST through the weekend will be processed the next business day, Monday. 
    ALISON LOU does not ship to APO/FPO addressed or P.O. boxes. We do not ship on weekends or U.S. Holidays and we do not offer Saturday delivery unless. 

    Please note there are exceptions to the above. If you need your order in a hurry please contact us at orders@alisonlou.com prior to make sure your item is in stock and ready to ship.

    PROCESSING TIME/CUSTOM ORDERS
    All back-ordered, out of stock, and custom pieces including: Mrs. Rings, Ms. Rings, custom enamel and letter pieces are made-to-order and take an additional 10-15 business days to produce.
     
    Please note we cannot guarantee stock on all items. If you need something by a specific date or in a hurry please contact us at orders@alisonlou.com first. We are happy to assist you.

     

    INSURANCE
    We fully insure your order all the way to you, which means your shipment is risk-free in transit.
    For added security, we require a signature for all orders over $500 USD. If you choose to waive this, note that we are not responsible for any lost items.
     

    EXCHANGES & RETURNS
    We want you to love our pieces, so if for some reason you want to return your purchase, we've made it is easy using our free collection service. Just make sure you request your Return Label Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 10 days of receiving your order.

    Please email orders@alisonlou.com with your order number in the subject line and we will issue you an RMA number. 

    Once you receive your RMA number, we will email you a UPS label and you can ship back your package complimentary. Returns and exchanges must be picked-up by UPS within 4 days of receiving your pre-paid UPS return label. All items returned should have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and unidentified returns may be returned to the sender.

    Just drop your shipment off at your local UPS store or at any UPS facility. Attach the UPS label on the outside of the box and seal your package for the driver to collect.
    Please note: All personalized items, including MRS rings, are Final Sale.

    Items should be returned new, unused, and with all ALISON LOU tags still attached. Returns that are damaged, worn, soiled or altered will not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.

    All custom orders (not limited to Mrs Rings, Custom Enamel Studs, etc) are FINAL SALE. This is also noted on the product page.

    All items on Sale are FINAL SALE once shipped and are therefore ineligible for refund or exchange.

    All items purchased with Merchandise Credit are FINAL SALE and are therefore ineligible for refund or exchange.

    If you purchased an item from an outside retailer and would like to return or exchange it, this must be done at the retailer. We are only able to process returns or exchanges on pieces purchased directly from our store or alisonlou.com.


    INTERNATIONAL POLICY
    For all orders shipping outside of the US the ship-to recipient we will be responsible for any taxes or customs duties incurred.

    All international orders are considered FINAL SALE once shipped and are therefore ineligible for refund or exchange.

    All purchases must be paid for in U.S. dollars at the prices shown on our website

     

    REPAIRS
    If your ALISON LOU purchase needs to be repaired for any reason please contact us directly at orders@alisonlou.com. Please include your name, order number if applicable and reason for repair.
     
    All repairs are done on a case-by-case basis.
     
    If your piece requires repair and is within the first year of purchase, ALSION LOU will cover the cost upon approval from a customer service representative. Not all repairs will be approved and covered. 

    There may be an additional charge for your repair, which you will be notified of prior to the work being done. Repairs can take up to 4 weeks to process and ship depending on the work needed.
    • Ring Sizing - repair fee starts at $50 and up
    • Chain Replacement - $175 and up
    • Enamel Repair - $50 and up
    All repairs are subject to shipping charges.

    Please do not send in an item for repair without contacting our team first.

    We reserve the right to deny any unreasonable repairs, returns, and/or exchanges.

     

    JEWELRY CARE

    All ALISON LOU pieces are made under fair trade in both sourcing and manufacturing. All pieces are made of 14K Yellow, White, or Rose Gold. Some pieces feature enamel or precious stones.
     
    If your ALISON LOU piece has enamel please keep it away from extreme cold or heat as it can melt or crack.
     
    Jewelry can scratch with wear; this is normal, and just shows how much you love your ALISON LOU piece. We recommend keeping your jewelry in the provided pouch when you are not wearing it.

     
     

    FAQ

    1. How do I check the status of my order?
    You can email orders@alisonlou.com and we are happy to update you. If your order has shipped you will receive an automated email with your tracking number.
     
    1. Will I be charged sales tax?
    Sales tax applies to orders shipped and/or picked up in New York State.
     
    1. I love your work, but I want something custom! What should I do?
    We love creating something custom and one of kind. Please email us with your request at orders@alisonlou.com and a customer service representative will be in touch. Please note custom commissions come with a design fee.
     
    1. I want a MRS. Ring, but I need more than 1 letter! What should I do?
    We can do almost anything just email us at orders@alisonlou.com and a customer service representative will be in touch. Custom designs to come with an additional fee.
     
    1. I received an Alison Lou piece as a gift and want to exchange or return it. What are next steps?
    Please email us at orders@alisonlou.com with your name, the name of the person who gave it to you and what you want to exchange it for. Gifts from ALISON LOU are only able to be exchanged.
     
    1. I want a ring in a size that is not available on your site. Can I still order it?
    Of course, but please be in touch first with us at orders@alisonlou.com.. Not all ring styles are available in all sizes.
     
    1. I have a promo code. Does it expire?
    Please note any promo codes that are valid come directly from our mailing list. The mailer will state the dates for the window of use. Promo codes do expire and cannot be applied to previously placed orders.
     
    1. I have a store credit. Can I use it online? Does it expire?
    All store credits can be used online by contacting orders@alisonlou.com. We will be able to process you order for you and apply your store credit at this time. Store credits expire after 365 days.
     
    1. What does final sale mean?
    Final sale means the item cannot be returned or exchanged. No exceptions. This applies to all custom orders, sale items, and any other items we have noted.
     
    1. Do you offer gift-wrapping?
    Yes! Please just check the gift-wrapping option at check out. All gift-wrapped orders are wrapped in custom ALISON LOU wrapping paper and with an ALISON LOU bow. We also provide a small ALISON LOU shopping bag with your order. We can also include handwritten notes if requested.
