Shipping & Exchanges
All orders are processed and shipped from New York City. Please note orders are processed pending item availability and credit card verification (for international orders). You will be contacted if there are any issues with your order.
- Orders placed Monday – Friday before 12pm EST for in-stock items will be processed and shipped same day.
- Orders placed Monday – Friday after 12pm EST for in-stock items will be processed the next business day.
- Orders placed Friday after 12pm EST through the weekend will be processed the next business day, Monday.
ALISON LOU does not ship to APO/FPO addressed or P.O. boxes. We do not ship on weekends or U.S. Holidays and we do not offer Saturday delivery unless this has been requested and approved prior to purchase.
Please note there are exceptions to the above. If you need your order in a hurry please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to make sure your item is in stock and ready to ship.

PROCESSING TIME/CUSTOM ORDERS
All back-ordered, out of stock, and custom pieces including: Custom Word Necklaces, Mrs. Rings, Ms. Rings, Custom Enamel / Color Option Pieces (when you select the color of any style) and Letter Pieces are made-to-order and take an additional 10-20 business days to produce.
Please note we cannot guarantee stock on all items. If you need something by a specific date or in a hurry please contact us at email@example.com first. We are happy to assist you.
We fully insure your order all the way to you, which means your shipment is risk-free in transit.
For added security, we require a signature for all orders. If you choose to waive this, please put this in the comments section of your order, and note that we are not responsible for any lost items.
All purchases (except for custom pieces & LOUCITE) can either be exchanged or returned for store credit only within 10 days of receiving your order. If for some reason you want to make an exchange, we've made it is easy using our collection service. Just make sure you request your Exchange Merchandise Authorization (EMA) number within 10 days of receiving your order. If your exchange is of lesser value, the balance will remain in store credit. Store Credit is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number in the subject line and we will issue you an EMA number.
Once you receive your EMA number, we will email you a UPS label and you can ship back your package. Please note a $10 fee will be deducted from your return for the use of the label. Exchanges must be picked-up by UPS within 4 days of receiving your pre-paid UPS return label. All items returned should have an Exchange Merchandise Authorization (EMA) number and unidentified returns may be returned to the sender.
Just drop your shipment off at your local UPS store or at any UPS facility. Attach the UPS label on the outside of the box and seal your package for the driver to collect.
Please note your exchange will be less any original shipping charges. These are non-refundable. This is in addition to the $10 fee for using a return shipping label provided by Alison Lou.
Items should be sent back in brand new condition, unused, and with all ALISON LOU tags still attached. Items sent for exchange that are damaged, worn, soiled or altered will not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer. Please also note, if there are special circumstances surrounding your exchange, a 20% restocking fee can be applied at our discretion.
All custom orders (not limited to Mrs Rings, Custom Enamel Studs, Custom Word Necklaces, Mrs. Rings, Ms. Rings, Custom Enamel / Color Option Pieces (when you select the color of any style) and Letter Pieces) are FINAL SALE. This is also noted on the product page.
All items on Sale are FINAL SALE and are therefore ineligible for exchange. This includes any purchase made when using a discount code.
All items purchased with Merchandise Credit are FINAL SALE and are therefore ineligible for exchange.
All LOUCITE orders are FINAL SALE. More details in the LOUCITE section below.
If you purchased an item from an outside retailer and would like to return or exchange it, this must be done at the retailer. We are only able to process exchanges on pieces purchased directly from our store or alisonlou.com.
We ship internationally for $100. For all orders shipping outside of the US, any taxes or customs duties incurred are covered by Alison Lou.
All international orders are considered FINAL SALE once shipped and are therefore ineligible for refund or exchange.

All LOUCITE orders are final sale. No returns or exchanges. Please allow 24-48 hours to process and ship your order (orders are not shipped on weekends). Sets are sold as is and cannot be divided or mixed & matched. All Jelly Hoop Set orders come with a complimentary hologram pouch and clear tote. All single Jelly Hoop purchases come with a complimentary clear tote. Clear totes are sent while supplies last and are not guaranteed with order.
Discount codes cannot be applied to LOUCITE orders. Should an order be processed with a discount code we reserve the right to cancel your order.
All PREORDERS are paid in full at the time of purchase. Your order will ship within the window provided. Preorders cannot be changed or cancelled. All sales are final.
